I acknowledge that working with dogs—including training, boarding, socialization, walking, and related services—involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, scratches, bites, falls, or other injuries to myself, my dog(s), or third parties. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for myself and my dog(s) while participating in services provided by Happy Paws Pet Services, provided that reasonable care and due diligence are exercised.

I agree not to hold Happy Paws Pet Services, Bruna Figueiredo, their employees, contractors, affiliates, or property owners liable for any injury, loss, damage, or misfortune to myself or my dog(s) that may occur during or as a result of participation in services, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, as defined under applicable Canadian law.

I understand that dogs interact naturally and that, despite careful supervision, minor injuries such as cuts or scratches may occur. I also acknowledge that participation in these services may involve physical risks, including tripping, falling, being knocked down, jumped on, bitten, or scratched.

I confirm that, by enrolling my dog(s) in any Happy Paws Pet Services program, I represent that my dog(s) are in good health and have received all required vaccinations (or veterinarian-approved alternatives). If my dog becomes ill or injured while in the care of Happy Paws Pet Services, I authorize Happy Paws Pet Services to contact my designated veterinarian. In the event of an emergency where my designated veterinarian is unavailable, I authorize Happy Paws Pet Services to seek immediate care at the nearest veterinary clinic or animal hospital.

I agree to be fully financially responsible for any veterinary or medical expenses incurred while my dog(s) are under the care of Happy Paws Pet Services. I understand that Happy Paws Pet Services is not responsible for decisions made by veterinary professionals.

I hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Paws Pet Services, Bruna Figueiredo, their employees, contractors, affiliates, and property owners from any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from my participation or my dog’s participation in services, including damage or injury caused by my dog(s), except where prohibited by law.

I understand that I am solely financially responsible for any damage or harm caused by my dog(s) during training, boarding, walking, or socialization services.

I grant permission for photographs, videos, or recordings taken during training, walking, or boarding sessions to be used by Happy Paws Pet Services for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes, including on social media and websites, unless I notify Happy Paws Pet Services in writing otherwise.

I acknowledge that I may ask questions at any time and that my participation is voluntary. I understand that I am not required to consent to any activity with which I am uncomfortable.

I agree to all payment terms and conditions outlined in email correspondence and on the Happy Paws Pet Serviceswebsite. I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement and that the information provided by me is accurate and truthful.
